Use Half Sour Pickles

These crispy chicken tenders are elevated with a tangy pickle breadcrumb crust, making them a uniquely tasty and extra delicious meal. It’s the perfect companion to the refreshing, mild flavor of our SOUR DILL PICKLES.

Ingredients

1. 2 chicken breasts, cut into strips

2. 1/2 cup pickle juice (from Half Sour Pickles)

3. 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)

4. 1 tsp garlic powder

5. Salt and pepper, to taste

6. 2 eggs, beaten

7. Olive oil (for frying)

8. Half Sour Pickles (for serving)

Instructions

  • 1. Marinate the chicken strips in pickle juice for at least 30 minutes.
  • 2. In a shallow bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • 3. Dip the marinated chicken strips into the beaten eggs, then coat them in the breadcrumb mixture.
  • 4. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the chicken tenders until golden and crispy.
  • 5. Serve cold with half-sour pickle spears on the side.
